Device(s) are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of three months. Device(s) will be repaired or adjusted at no charge during the warranty period. All manufacturers’ warranties will be honored for the full term of such warranty regardless of this policy. Repair and adjustments necessitated by physiological change are not covered by warranty. Rough or abusive use of device(s) is not covered by warranty.
Repairs necessitated by alteration or adjustment by persons not representing Beacon P & O are not covered.
Failure to contact the treating practitioner or infrequent or non-use of prescribed device(s) does not absolve the patient, insurance company, or hospital from responsibility for payment. Device(s) that are custom made and prescribed by the physician are not returnable. Prescribed “off-the shelf” device(s) that have been fit and applied to the patient are not returnable for hygienic reasons.
It is in the best interest of the patient to communicate with the practitioner in a timely manner if there are problems with the device(s) that Beacon P & O provided. Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest quality orthotic and prosthetic care available. We will make every attempt to meet the individual needs of the patients thereby insuring the best possible outcomes.
